Sir Mix-A-Lot: 'I like big... burgers'

SEATTLE - Seattle's own, Sir Mix-A-Lot will be mixing it up, and performing at Dick's Drive-In 60th Anniversary Party on Capitol Hill on Sunday.  Dick's is celebrating its 60th year in Seattle by throwing a block party all day (noon to 10 p.m.) featuring local Seattle bands  a beer garden.  Broadway will be closed from East John Street to East Denny Way.  Some of the local bands that will be on stage are: Funky 2 Death, Radio Raheem and Don't Talk To Cops.  Sir Mix-A-Lot will be performing at 8:30 p.m.

"We always have a focus on our fans and on charity and this party is no different. Thanks to the generosity of other great local companies, all beer garden proceeds and water sales will go to our 8 "Change for Charity" organizations that serve the homeless in Seattle and Edmonds," Saul Spady said.  Spady is today's party emcee and grandson of Dick Spady, the co-founder and president of Dick's Drive-In.
