WANTED IN KENT August 23, 2013 —
Cops say dangerous convicted felon, Brett White, kept his ex-girlfriend trapped in her apartment for two days — even trying to smother her with a pillow. When she finally escaped out the front door, police say White threw her to the ground. A neighbor saved her by calling 911 — but White got away.

“She was kept in her bedroom. He attempted to smother her with a pillow,” says Kent Det. Melanie Frazier. “This guy’s a dangerous guy. He’s a known felon. He has criminal convictions for domestic violence. He’s out there, there’s no doubt. We don’t know where his exact location will be. There’s lots of places he could be staying. He’s dangerous to this victim, and he’s dangerous to others as well.”

Detectives say several other women have domestic violence ‘no-contact orders’ against White.

He’s 39 years old, and has a $150,000 warrant for Unlawful Imprisonment, Burglary, and Assault.

He was last known to be living in Des Moines.
