Ford recalls popular vehicle following steering concern
WASHINGTON -- Ford has issued a recall for 370,000 cars because of possible rust on the steering shifts of several cars, which could result in a loss of steering.
The recall includes the 2005 to 2011 Ford Crown Victoria, Mercury Grand Marquis and the Lincoln Town Car. While most of the affected cars are in the U.S., about 15,000 of them are in Canada.
The recall follows an investigation this year by the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration after customers complained about steering loss in some models of the Crown Victoria Police Interceptor.
So far, there are no reports of any incidents or injuries related to the recall.
