Kick Texas out of the Union, survey says
NEW YORK – Weird accents, hot residents, best food, you may be surprised by how Americans feel about other states.
Business Insider asked people to vote on a wide range of questions and people had to name a state other than their own. Apparently, Americans think Alaska has the worst food. New York has the tastiest, but it also had the best and worst sports fans. Massachusetts was voted for having the weirdest accents.
California had the most votes for hottest residents. On the flipside, Alabama has the ugliest. While Massachusetts has the smartest residents, Mississippi was perceived to be the dumbest state.
And Texas isn’t making a lot of friends. It’s the state most Americans would like to have kicked out of the Union. Washington wasn’t named #1 in any of the lists.
