Snoqualmie breaks ground on new park

SNOQUALMIE RIDGE - Construction has begun on a new community park in Snoqualmie.

The 16-acre Jeanne Hansen Park is named in memory of the former Snoqualmie Mayor, who served from 1988 to 1995.

The park will feature a tennis court, a walking track, nature trails, two playgrounds, a picnic area, barbecues, a concession stand, restrooms and parking.

The park is located at 34226 SE Jacobia Street and scheduled to be completed mid-2014.
