Autographed 12th Man flag stolen

SEATTLE -- A die-hard Seahawks fan is searching far and wide for one of his most prized possessions -- His 12th Man flag, autographed by Pete Carroll, Walter Jones, Marcus Trufant, Leonard Weaver and others. The flag was stolen after Saturday's home victory over the Broncos, MyNorthwest reported.

John Lacross said his flag has been to Texas, San Diego and other places around the U.S. He even posed with it in front of a Buddha statue in Japan. Those cherished memories are now all he has left of the keepsake.

Someone stole the flag while he and a friend were shopping in a store near CenturyLink Field, he told MyNorthwest. Lacross set the flag on a rack to try on a jacket and suddenly it was gone.

Lacross has filed a police report and is hoping surveillance cameras in the area might have captured the thief. He's also called memorabilia shops and has been checking eBay and Craigslist. If the flag is returned, Lacross said he won't press criminal charges.
