Today marks the 31st day this year with highs above 80 degrees, (Last Summer 19, Average 24). We have only had 1/3 of an inch of rainfall over the last 8 weeks, (not a record but dry for Seattle). The forecast calls for a hot day Thursday with highs in the mid 80s with a few 90s. Friday there will be lots of clouds and a high near 70. There will be mountain showers with some thunderstorms. Saturday and Sunday will be mostly cloudy with highs near 70. Pleasant just not hot. Next week looks pretty good and the End of August looks hot again. Walter. 8/21/13
