SEATTLE — Maliika Andrus, 17, was found Tuesday morning by the Auburn Police Department, who received a call that she was at a Starbucks. She was taken to a hospital for evaluation and will be released back to the group home later today, police said.
Andrus was reported missing early in the morning of Sunday, Aug. 18 and was believed to have walked away from a group home in the 18400 block of South Tapps Drive East.
Staff members believe she tampered with an alarm on her bedroom window and fled the facility at 6:35 a.m. Sunday. She had been recently placed at the group home and is not familiar with the Bonney Lake area.
