Residents get down and dirty for cancer research

Two-member teams competed in the REI Muddy Buddy race today at Sammamish State to raise money for the Prostate Cancer Foundation.



ISSAQUAH-- Folks wanting to get muddy came out to raise money for prostate cancer research at Sammamish State Park.

Teams of two competed in the REI Muddy Buddy Bike & Run, where they completed an obstacle course which included climbing a rope pyramid, sliding down an inflatable slide and swimming through a 50-ft. mud pit as the grand finale.

It was all in good fun and to raise money for the Prostate Cancer Foundation.
