WSP seeking witnesses to I-405 hit and run crash
KINGSGATE - The Washington State Patrol needs your help finding the driver of a car suspected of causing injury accident Sunday morning on Interstate-405. WSP said that an SUV and a dark green vehicle were both travelling northbound on I-405 near NE 160th Street. Just after midnight, as the vehicles approached the mile post 22 exit, the dark green vehicle collided with the SUV. The SUV rolled over and ended up on its top, injurying the lone driver. The driver's condition is not known at this time.
WSP said that the dark green vehicle left the scene and continued north on I-405. Investigators are asking for the public's assistance in identifying the suspect vehicle. Also, WSP is seeking any information about event leading up to or following the collision.
