Sport orange this weekend, 2013 'Obliteride' takes off to end cancer

SEATTLE-- The 2013 Obliteride celebration kicks off this weekend.

More than 700 cyclists are biking 25, 50, 100 and 180-mile routes Saturday, all starting and ending at Magnuson Park.

The fundraising effort is sponsored by Seattle's Fred Hutchinson Cancer Research Center. Riders begin their journey at 7:30 a.m. --  the first riders to start crossing the finish line are expected around 9:30 a.m.   The Obliteride Start and Finish Festival will also be held at Magnuson Park, from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m., which includes live music, food, and entertainment for ages.

Obliteride organizers are encouraging riders and supporters to wear orange .
