Watch Parella go 'Over the Edge' for Special Olympics

SEATTLE -- Parella Lewis of Q13 FOX News roped up and rappelled down a 40-story building in Seattle Friday as part of an "Over the Edge" event to raise money for the Special Olympics.

"I got to tell you, it was a little tough inching over the edge (with) downtown Seattle, Elliott Bay and the waterfront ... waaaay below," Lewis said.

She rappelled down the building with King County Sheriff's Deputy Chief Anne Kirkpatrick and Rep. Dave Reichert, R-Wash.

Dan Wartelle of the Special Olympics said Friday, "Twenty-five spots remain. You can rappel Saturday or Sunday ... so if you're sitting at home saying I got to do this, check this off my bucket list, this is the spot and this is the time."

Last year, the event raised nearly $250,000, and it costs about $650 to support one Special Olympics athlete a year.
