TACOMA-- Twenty-five kids impacted by cancer, either by having cancer themselves, know someone with cancer, or have lost a loved one to cancer, enjoyed a trip to the Children's Museum of Tacoma Monday.

The experience was part of their first day of Camp Sparkle. Gilda's Club Seattle, a non-profit cancer support organization, puts on the free camp, which includes daily field trips to fun local places.

Gilda's Club Seattle provides emotional, educational and social support for men, women, teens and children touched by cancer, as well as their family and friends.

According to the organization's website, it also puts on free workshops through the south sound, and through collaboration with MultiCare Regional Cancer Center.
