Six hospitalized after car hits moose
Six people are recovering in the hospital after a family driving on Highway 395 in eastern Washington slammed into a moose.
According to KAYU FOX 28, the family’s red, 1995 Buick LeSabre was northbound on the highway Monday night, about 30 miles south of Colville, when it hit a moose in the roadway.
A nine-year-old boy’s injuries were so severe, he had to be airlifted to Sacred Heart Medical Center in Spokane.

Police say everyone in the car was wearing a seatbelt and drugs and alcohol were not involved.
