Korean Air has never solved their cockpit culture. The Korean society has a definite pecking order and that extends to the flight deck. The Captain is in charge and no one can question the decisions or point out the mistakes the captain makes or is about to make. The Korean culture has a high regard for their elders and superiors and do not question that authority. Until Korean Air addresses the issues surrounding the cockpit culture, more people will certainly be killed and injured.
