VIDEO: Man smashes car, business windows in Pike-Pine corridor

SEATTLE -- Police said that nine parked cars and two business windows in the Pike-Pine corridor were smashed when a 44-year-old Seattle man went on a spree.

The incident happened about 7:30 p.m. Sunday.

Wielding a red, 5-foot long metal bar, police said the man caused $5,000 worth of damage. He was attempting to smash a coffee shop sign when police took him into custody.

The man is in King County Jail. He could be facing malicious mischief charges.
