Summer heat in Seattle

Today was the 16th day above 80 degrees this year. We average 24 days at 80 or above so it gives you an idea what we got for the rest of the year. SeaTac has gone 26 days without rainfall and the record is 51 days so this gives you an idea of where we stand. The forecast calls for sunny and very warm weather to continue through Thursday with highs near 83. Friday through the weekend looks pleasant with lots of morning clouds (with the chance to hear the Puget Sound Fog Horns) and some afternoon sun breaks with highs near 72. Still no “real” threat of rain in the forecast. Walter. 7/23/13
