Cold night, warm weekend

Highs were stuck in the 60s today as cooler air poured on top of Western Washington. The sunshine was slow to come out and that kept us below the seasonal average. Tonight will be brisk as overnight lows drop into the mid to upper 40s for most places. Seattle will be a hair warmer at 51 degrees.

Changes arrive tomorrow as sunshine pops out of the clouds by mid-morning. That will drive daytime highs back into the mid 70s and set the stage for an even warmer Sunday.

By early next week , a second warm up will bump temperatures a little higher, kicking off the 80s with continued dry weather for much of next week.
