23-year-old woman injured in 20-foot fall on Little Si trail

A 23-year-old woman who was rock climbing fell 20 feet on the Little Si trail near North Bend, and initial indications were she suffered a spinal injury, the King County Sheriff’s Office said.

The woman was about half up up the trail when the accident occurred, the sheriff’s office said, and her rescue took about an hour. It reported at first that she injured her lower leg and head in the fall.

But it later updated that to say the initial indications were of a spinal injury.

The unidentified woman was taken to the hospital.
