SEATTLE — Relief is in sight this summer for Snohomish County drivers who are sick of bouncing over potholes.

The county is preparing to chip-seal about 88 miles of roadway. The work is set to start next week, according to the Everett Herald.

Among the cities they’ll be doing the repairs are Granite Falls, Monroe, Stanwood, Lake Stevens and Arlington.

They’ll patch potholes, seal cracks and resurface a number of roads with tar and crushed rock.
