Captured: Nicholas Roy, escaped con who bolted after ‘dirty’ drug test

royUPDATE: A Washington’s Most Wanted viewer recognized Nicholas Roy at a location in Spokane on July 12 and called 911.

Roy was taken into custody after trying to “unsuccessfully” outrun the Pacific Northwest Violent Offender Task Force. He is the 433rd fugitive caught to date.

ORIGINAL STORY (JUNE 28, 2013) WANTED BY U.S. MARSHALS IN SPOKANE —
U.S. Marshals are on a high-priority manhunt for escaped Spokane convict, Nicholas Roy.

They say he bolted from Brownstone Work Release in Spokane, a day after his drug test came up dirty with meth.

He has an extensive criminal history in Washington and Idaho.
