We are about to shift gears from a muggy, wet weather pattern to a sunny heat wave! Our area of low pressure will move east as high pressure drifts in from the south. This will clear out clouds and cause temperatures to soar into the mid -80s by Sunday.
But it doesn’t end there.
Another area of high pressure will build into the area Monday, driving temps to near 90 degrees! We will remain hot until Wednesday when temperatures begin “cooling” back into the 80s.
Right now, the 4th of July looks milder, but still warm with highs near 78. As of now, there’s only about a 20% chance for rain Thursday night. Fingers crossed.
