Temps in the 80s are coming back

SEATTLE -- Western Washington will continue to see scattered showers and a possible isolated thunderstorm through Thursday. An area of low pressure spinning to the west is sputtering up moist, muggy and unstable air. It’s the reason Seattle had a record rainfall of .39” Tuesday that flooded other parts of Puget Sound.

Relief is in sight by Friday as an area of high pressure takes over. The rain-making low will slide to the west and will be replaced by sinking air clearing the path to a perfect weekend!

Highs on Friday will be at least 80 degrees, but will likely soar into the mid-80s by Sunday and Monday.

This trend looks to hold up through the middle part of next week before the 70s return to the area.
