Sen. Murray wants to limit Border Patrol’s reach

Patty Murray, Female Senators Hold News Conf. On Planned Parenthood AmendmentSEATTLE — Sen. Patty Murray is working to limit the U.S. Border Patrol’s authority on public and private land near the Canadian border.

According to the Seattle Weekly, Murray is pushing an amendment that would “shrink” the Constitution-free zone surrounding international boundaries.

Under the current law, border agents can stop and search vehicles within 100 miles of an “external boundary” and enter private property located within 25 miles of an international boundary.

The Weekly reports that Border Patrol searches have been especially rampant on the Olympic Peninsula, where immigrant families are frequent targets.

Patty Murray would rather protect illegal aliens(criminals) than actual citizens. She has never been good for anything. Get rid of her!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

VOTE HER OUT!! She, like most lefties do not want to have secure borders. Why is protecting our borders such an ugly thing to her and the left? Under the new immigration bill that both sides are trying to pass…. If I steal someone's social security number and then turn myself in, I go to prison. If an illegal does it they get a waiver. Nice huh? Its full of waivers for them. Obama, Reid, Palosi, Murray, etc. have set this country back 30 years racially.
