lakestevensEVERETT – The 20-year-old woman found slain in a Lake Stevens home earlier this week was identified Thursday as Phillipa S. Evans-Lopez, and she died from stab wounds, the Snohomish County Medical Examiner’s Office said.

She was found dead in the home in the 9200 block of 15th Street SE in Lake Stevens Monday morning.

In a news release Wednesday, the county sheriff’s office, which took over the investigation, said: “At this point, investigators are not seeking any specific suspects or persons of interest, but do ask the public to continue forwarding tips related to this crime.”

It said any tips or information should be directed to the sheriff’s office tip line: 425-388-3845.
