VIDEO: Tossing corn at Safeco Field to beat Lou Gehrig’s disease

SEATTLE — They weren’t warming up their arms to toss baseballs at Safeco Field Sunday — they were tossing bags of dried corn to raise money to fight Lou Gehrig’s disease, or ALS.  The hope is to stop ALS in its tracks one day.
