The 16 year old boy told police he was walking home from the grocery store just after 10pm Friday night, when a man approached him and demanded he get into his van. Police say the boy refused and took off running, when the guy started to chase him. He told police he hid an alley until the man gave up, and drove away.

The suspect is described as black, in his late 20’s to early 30’s, with a blue gauge in his ear, and a scruffy beard. Police say he spoke in a feminine voice, with a slight stutter.

Detectives think the man was driving a light green camper/conversion van with squiggly striping down the side and dark tinted windows.
