Man punches woman, steals purse

EDMONDS, Wash. -- Police are  patrolling the streets Thursday after two men violently robbed a woman for her purse.

The incident happened just before 2 p.m. Tuesday in the 22900 block of 76th Avenue West.

According to police, the suspects approached the woman near her car. Moments later, one of them punched her in the face and grabbed her purse before running off. The woman called police.

One suspect has been arrested. The other is described as a white man in his 30s, 5'8" tall and with a thin build. He has a beard and was wearing thick, clear glasses,  police said.
