Sasquatch! expands with more days, acts

GEORGE, Wash. -- Washington's premiere music festival will double down next year with twice as many weekends and twice as many acts.

Sasquatch! 2014 will take place over two weekends with totally separate lineups of musical acts and comedians, officials with the music festival announced Thursday.

The music festival will continue to take place over Memorial Day weekend from May 23-25. But new this year, Sasquatch! will feature a second weekend over the 4th of July, complete with a different lineup of  bands.

Both events will be held at The Gorge.

According to a release, organizers decided to expand the festival after Sasquatch! 2013 sold out in a record 90 minutes.
