Registered sex offender charged with child rape

SEATTLE -- A sex offender accused of luring a young girl into his motor home has been charged with child rape.

King County prosecutors claim Keith Geyman sexually assaulted an 11-year-old girl after encountering the girl and her 10-year-old brother playing near his broken down RV.

The alleged incident took place a block from Renton High School and 62-year-old Geyman also allegedly gave the girl a bible before the attack.

According to court documents, Geyman is a registered sex offender with a conviction in Montana from the '80s.

He is currently registered as homeless in King County and his bail has been set at $100,000.

A court date is scheduled for June 13.
