SEATTLE — The Snohomish County Sheriff’s Office rescue teams retrieved a backcountry hiker on Memorial Day from the Boulder River trail near Oso. The woman was injured on Sunday and was waiting with three of her friends to be rescued. About 8 a.m. Monday, the rescue helicopter airlifted the woman into the helicopter and she was sent to Providence Hospital in Everett for treatment.
