The crash, which happened early Saturday morning, killed Deming instantly. Deter died at the hospital Sunday morning. Police suspect alcohol was involved and said the truck was wrapped around a tree and light pole.

Deter graduated from Ellensburg High School in 2010 and was living in the Vancouver area. Friends described her as a vivacious young woman who loved horses and barrel racing.  Her funeral will be held in Cle Elum Thursday.

She is a beautiful young lady .Her eyes are blue ,her hair is blond her face is gorgeous and she is absolutely beautiful. Even her skin look youthful and beautiful. And she is dead because of drinking alcohol in a night of compounded mistakes that added up to a horrible mishap. What a waste of a pretty girl who would have been someones mommy and is someones daughter and grand daughter .I am saddened for her and her family and feel like It is a waste beyond comprehension :-(
Please , to everyone who has the ability to read this post please stop drinking and driving and if you have to please be some place safe and never drive under the influence and or ride with someone under the effects of drugs and alcohol . PLEASE I BEG OF YOU !! from a father of a 21 year old daughter and a 19 year old son .
