Thousands of ladybugs released to mark Earth Day

LAKE FOREST PARK -- Dozens of students at Lake Forest Park Montessori released thousands of the ladybugs Monday to mark Earth Day.

Some were brave to let them crawl around on their hands and arms before saying goodbye. Then they set them free in their school garden.

Ladybugs feed on aphids and other insects that harm plants. They are an organic form of pest control -- that's good for the Earth.
