Seahawks schedule released: Four prime-time games
SEATTLE -- The schedule features the Seahawks in two Monday Night Football games for the first time since 2006, a Sunday Night Football game and a Thursday Night Football game. Seattle's four nationally televised games are the most since having five in 2006.
The first nationally televised game takes place Week 2 as Seattle hosts NFC West rival San Francisco on NBC's Sunday Night Football on Sept. 15. The Seahawks then have back-to-back nationally televised road games against division rivals Arizona on NFL Network's Thursday Night Football (Oct. 17) and St. Louis on ESPN's Monday Night Football (Oct. 28).
Seattle rounds out its prime-time schedule with a Week 13 match-up vs. the New Orleans Saints on Monday night (Dec. 2). The Seahawks have won six Monday Night Football games in a row and their .692 winning percentage on Monday night is tops in the NFL.
The schedule has six contests against 2012 playoff contenders, including home games facing Super Bowl XLVII runner-up San Francisco, the Minnesota Vikings, and games vs. the AFC South and NFC South.
