If you’re one of those people who was upset to hear of the USPS’ decision to stop Saturday delivery, you may not need to fret.
Postalnews.com wrote on Thursday that the Postmaster General’s decision to move from a 6-day delivery week to a 5-day requires legislative authority from Congress, which it does not have.

This is another example of the problem with government spending. A sensible way to cut costs and they choose to continue wasting taxpayer money.

Previous guest comment is another case of ignorance on the internet.
First…USPS does NOT use 1¢ of Tax money.
Second, Stopping Saturday delivery will NOT save what they proposed, as USPS would have continued with everything except first class delivery on Saturday.
Third, this has been, plain and simple, a right wing agenda to privatize the USPS (read: UNION busting)
