Yoga pants recalled for being see-thru

CHICAGO (WGN-TV) -- Getting strange looks in your yoga class?

Athletic clothes retailer Lululemon has stopped shipments of its yoga pants due to “a level of sheerness in some of our women’s black luon bottoms that fall short of our very high standards.”

In a statement, the company acknowledges learning of the problem a week ago when store managers “expressed concern over the sheerness” of the spandex-blend bottoms.

The affected yoga pants have been removed from store shelves, accounting for some 17 percent of all the ladies pants in its stores. They attribute the problem to a manufacturing issue.

Lululemon says customers with these bottoms, which would have been purchased this month, “are welcome to return them for a full refund or exchange.”
