Stormy mid-week

Good news this week -- winter ends. Spring begins at 4:02 a.m. Wednesday. The weather calls for fairly stormy conditions Tuesday night through Wednesday. The winds, rain and mountain snow all pick up Tuesday afternoon. The wind gusts will top 35 mph early Wednesday morning. There will be periods of moderate rain and heavy mountain snow -- the ski areas will love it. The passes will get snow especially Wednesday morning. Thursday will be a convergence zone day with rain or isolated thunderstorms mainly north of Seattle. Most of us on Thursday will be dry with sun breaks. Friday through the weekend look pretty good with some sun and mostly dry weather. The tree pollen is high. Walter. 3/18/13
