A few light showers likely for St. Patrick's Day weekend

SEATTLE -- Western Washington was in between systems Friday so enjoy the break while we have it. Scattered showers return Saturday with cooler temperatures for the lowlands and low snow levels for the mountains and passes. Highs Saturday will be below the seasonal average of 50 degrees.

A few light showers will dance across Puget Sound on St. Patrick's Day on Sunday, but it won't be a big deal. Highs will be even cooler at 48 degrees .
