SEATTLE — It’s being called a groundbreaking, socially responsible film. “Girl Rising” is a documentary that tells the story of nine girls and the challenges they face while growing up in developing countries. Cynthia Breilh, the national director of the group “Women of Vision,” talked about the film prior to its Thursday night screening at Seattle’s Cinerama.
