cardiologistSEATTLE — The recent remarks of a former White House physician about New Jersey Gov. Chris Christie’s weight, and his response, have a lot of people talking.

Dr. Connie Mariano says she worries Christie might die in office because of his weight.

Christie recently went on the ‘Late Night with David Letterman’ talk show and said he’s basically the healthiest fat guy in the world.

That got us wondering, can you really be obese and healthy?

A doctor from Virginia Mason gives some answers:

    Why is this even in the news at all? So what if he's fat. If he were to gain office and die, then we would replace him. Big whoop. When did this country get so stupid?
