Gunman shows up at West Seattle estate sale, robs those inside home

SEATTLE -- A gunman robbed several people during an estate sale at a West Seattle home Thursday afternoon, police said.

At about 3:45 p.m., a masked, armed man forced his way inside a home at SW Hinds St. and Belvidere Ave. SW and stole cash and jewelry from the people inside the home, police said.

No one was injured during the robbery.

The suspect then fled through the neighborhood.

The man was described as a white male in his 20s, 5-foot-10, husky, and wearing black clothing.

The suspect remains at large. Anyone with information about the incident or who may know the identity or whereabouts of the suspect is asked to call 911 or Seattle police and refer to this incident. Anonymous tips are welcome, police said.
