Showers and breezy through Monday

Wet and breezy with big time mountain snow. The lowlands will get passing showers with most of the rain north and again south of Seattle. Seattle is in the rain shadow so we will see less rain than everyone else. The ski areas will get 2 -3 feet of new snow through Tuesday. The snow level is around 2000feet so the passes will get lots of snow too. The winds are not strong but they will be gusting up to around 25mph through Monday. The 3 best days out of the next 7 will  be Wednesday, Friday and Saturday. Those days should be dry with some sun breaks. Lows near 38 and highs near 45 this week. Walter. 1/27/13
