Omar Ornelas-Villa: Missing woman abuser wanted on both sides of state

omarWANTED IN KING COUNTY, YAKIMA & ELLENSBURG -- The manhunt is on for a convicted woman-abuser who's wanted on both sides of the states. In Yakima, Omar Ornelas-Villa, is wanted for assault, and in King County, he's wanted for violating a domestic violence protection order, after detectives say he somehow snuck into his ex-girlfriend's house. "One day, she and her friend came home and guess who's sitting at the couch -- there was Omar sitting there,” says King County Sgt. Cindi West. “He got into it with her verbally. He kicked her. He pushed her. And, then he demanded everything she'd ever given him since they had been together, including the pants she was wearing currently. He forcibly took her computer. Threw it down and broke it. Took all the clothes she had in the house, including the pair of pants she had on. He fled with her car, by taking the keys from her." He's also wanted by police in Ellensburg. Ornelas-Villas has been busted for a bunch of domestic violence crimes already, including assault, harassment, and unlawful imprisonment. He's also been convicted of a gun crime. "We haven't been able to locate him,” Sgt. West says. “We did find the car in Ellensburg at his grandmother's house. He is running from us, and we definitely want to get him off the street.” Omar’s 20 years old, and cops think he could still be hiding at his grandma’s, but also has ties to Yakima and the west side of the state.
