Fog down here, sun up in the mountains

SEATTLE -- The forecast calls for more of the same. Dry, cold, with some fog. Lows near 27 and highs near 40 through the weekend. Each morning there will be some dense fog.

If we get a little onshore flow, then the fog sticks around like today. If we get a little offshore flow, then we get sun like yesterday. Friday and Saturday, there is a weak onshore flow so expect the Puget Sound lowlands to stay mostly foggy.

If you want some sunshine, head to the beach or the mountains this weekend. It’ll be great there. In fact, the beach was sunny and 55 today. Puget sound traps the pollution down low so you can expect poor air quality through the weekend, too.

The first sign of a “little rain” will be Wednesday morning.
