Lane restrictions on the 'Mercer Mess' begin Monday

SEATTLE – The Seattle Department of Transportation wants to warn drivers about lane restrictions on Mercer Street beginning Monday, Jan. 14.

Two eastbound lanes of Mercer Street will be open between Terry Avenue N. and Fairview Avenue N. During that time, crews will install new signal poles and mast arms at the intersection of Mercer Street and Fairview Avenue N.

Work will occur on weekdays during non-peak traffic hours from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. and is expected to last two weeks.
