Flu in full force this holiday season

For people who haven't gotten their flu shots yet -- now is the best time -- as health experts say you're more likely to get the flu this time of year.

Flu season doesn't typically peak until January, but the CDC said this year's strain is especially tough on children and the elderly. Experts said to try to limit hand shakes and contact with others and use  sanitizing wipes and carry hand sanitizer and use it.

The flu is a respiratory illness. Signs include fever, body ache, sore throat or congestion. This year, 112 million Americans have received a flu shot.
