The wind and rain continue to pound parts of Western Washington this weekend. 1.40″ of rain dumped yesterday in Seattle. That means we ended the month of November with almost 7″ at SeaTac airport. Now the mountains have joined in with a Winter storm warning and a winter weather advisory in effect until tomorrow night. 9″-2 feet of snow is expected in the Cascade mountains and passes.
For your Sunday- expect scattered showers, some heavy at times, and winds between 15-25 mph. Rain will increase heading into tomorrow night and Monday.
It looks like rain will dominate the first week of December with each day having more than a 30% chance of rain. But by the time Saturday rolls around, we may be looking at a temperatures drop that leads to our first snow flurries of the season (in the lowlands). Stay tuned.
