What to do if city, county or state vehicle doesn't obey rules of the road

Q: Who can I contact when I see a city, county or state vehicle breaking any of the rules of the road? -- Daniel, Kennewick A: If you're following a city, county or state car and they're driving badly, get the plate number. If it's a state vehicle, call the state; a city vehicle, call the city. The same goes with a county vehicle -- call the county. They all have a program in place and they will find out who was driving that vehicle, when, and where they were when that occured. Sometimes the same people get calls on them several times. It will be dealt with, it won't be ignored, they will know who was driving that vehicle, and they'll be able to address it. -- Pierce County Sheriff's detective Ed Troyer
